Lower Yosemite Fall And Fall Trip Update

Lower Yosemite Fall is one of my favorite waterfalls because of the strength it has. It’s big brother, Upper Yosemite Fall, is really impressive, but when it comes to power, the lower fall wins. I’ve posted a picture of the lower fall, from my last trip, below. The amount of water coming off the cliff was amazing and I think I spent a good hour just taking it all in.

So, it looks like there may be a slight change in plans on my fall trip. I am going to Yosemite, but before I go there I had planned on going up the coast to the Redwoods near Crescent City. That plan my be slightly altered. I really want to go, but I have an alternative idea that may take me up to the Redwoods as well as another place: Lassen Volcanic National Park. I’ve been doing a lot of research on Lassen and it sounds amazing. I’m slowly working out the logistics on the trip, but it could be altered again at any time. It also depends on the weather in the area…as well as how much energy I have for this craziness. I’ll keep everyone posted on that.

This weekend has been humid! We’ve had rain here in Southern California and the temperature has been slightly high. Tonight I’m really feeling the humidity and not liking it. Hopefully it will go away in the next couple of days.

Have a great week everyone!
