Below is another image of the snow around the Dana Fork of the Tuolumne River that I saw this last October.

As I walked around the river, I focused on some of the smaller elements of the area. The first image below is of a pinecone and some pine needles on a granite slab along the river. The second is a closer look of the snow. As they say, “Life is in the details.”
