I took in an early morning sunrise at Ventura Harbor today. It’s always great to see the sunrise around the ocean.

Surfers were out enjoying the waves along the breakers and fishers were casting their lines into the ocean as the sun lit up the area.

I went over to the Channel Islands National Park Visitors Center and walked around the small garden at the entrance. Plants were making seasonal changes. The cactus had small red bulbs and yellow daisies were popping up everywhere.

Now home, I’m planning my fall adventure which will be a trip to the Pacific Northwest! Lots of national parks to visit!
