The wildlife in Yosemite was very active in Yosemite when I visited in October. While I didn’t see any bears on this trip, the deer and other animals seemed to be everywhere.

Below is an image of a mule deer near the trailhead for Lower Yosemite Falls early one morning. The deer seemed very approachable, but I always keep really good distance from the animals in the park. It gives them a better feeling of comfort and keeps them relaxed. This deer was just out for a morning grazing and probably didn’t want to be disturbed.
