I was over at Ventura Harbor this morning to get some steps in (try to do 10,000 steps a day) and went over to the Channel Island National Park Visitors Center. Some really nice color was displaying in the garden in front of the visitor’s center. Below is an image of some of the small wild flowers that were in bloom.

Gearing up for my national park trips in the fall. It should be a nice trip as long as the weather doesn’t get too hot, especially in Arches, Canyonland, and Capital Reef National Parks. I think the Rockies should be slightly cooler. Should be some nice trails in all parks to explore on!
