Neck Straps No More

There’s one thing that’s annoyed me from the time I bought my first DSLR: neck straps. For some reason they always get in the way of my photography and I’ve never felt comfortable having them around my neck. I’m sure they’re useful for the right individual, but 99.9% of the time I don’t use them and wondered if there was anything out in the world that would benefit me more.

Enter: The Joby DSLR Wrist Strap. This great little invention attaches to one of your camera’s shoulder lugs and has a strong durable strap that fits around your wrist. If you accidentally drop your camera, the strap automatically tightens around your wrist and stops the camera from falling to the ground. There’s also a stitched stopper to keep the strap from hurting your wrist when the camera is dropped. The wrist strap comes in two colors (charcoal and neon green). I’ve tested the strap a number of times, with different lenses attached to my camera, and it works great!

If a wrist strap doesn’t interest you, Joby has another alternative: a sling strap. This strap fits over your shoulder and across the body. The sling strap is much more flexible than a neck strap and is designed for men and women specific.

Have a great week everyone!
