I had never been to the north entrance of Crater Lake National Park, so when I was up there in October this year I took a little drive up to the entrance. What I didn’t expect was the vistas and views along the road up there!

Just before you reach the north entrance, there is an area called the Pumice Desert. Below are two images I took of that area. It was absolutely beautiful! Who knew there was that extra added bonus to seeing the park around the north entrance!
