It’s been raining in California! I think this is the most rain I’ve seen in years. It’s been really great and we’re expecting more rain tomorrow. It’s raining this evening and I’ve been enjoying the sound of it coming down on the balcony.

Below is a photo I took of a tree that’s in the area where I live. I had no idea this specific tree sprouted flowers! I came around the corner the other day and saw it and thought it was a little early for the blooms on a tree, but since I’m not a horticulturist, I’m not sure if this is normal for this time of the year. In any case, it’s a really beautiful tree! I think the rain definitely helped with it blooming so well.
