Sorry it took me two weeks to update my blog, but my trip to the Sierras was so great and I had very little time to work on the computer.
I had an amazing time last week in Mammoth and Yosemite! It was so beautiful and the weather was perfect! There are a number of photos that I will be updating on the website and blog soon, but below are two of my favorites so far.
The first one is of deer grazing in Tuolumne Meadows in the early evening. This event always seems to stop cars and make people stare in wonder. When the sun goes down, all the deer in the area come out from behind the trees and fill the meadow. It is truly one of the most beautiful things to see in the park.
The second photo is of one of the tarns at the Nunatak Nature Trail just outside the east entrance of Yosemite. The photo was taken on the last day of my trip (Saturday, June 6th). I usually go to Schat’s Bakery in Mammoth on my last day and get a ham and cheese croissant to eat at one of the picnic tables at the beginning of the trail. I then take a short walk around the trail and enjoy the amazing views. This photo had to be taken when I saw the clouds reflecting on the tarn.
More photos will be posted in the next blog entry, as well as some interesting stories that go with them.
Have a great week everyone!
