El Capitan isn’t the only granite feature that people climb in Yosemite. You can find people climbing all over the walls of Yosemite Valley, but a number of people climb the cliffs up in the high country.

Below is an image of two climbers that were scaling a section of a granite wall around Tenaya Lake when I was up there this June. In some ways I wish I could do that kind of climbing, but having acrophobia and vertigo at some length makes it hard for me to do that kind of thing. Maybe one day I’ll conquer that kind of climbing.
