While driving to Arches National Park last year, on my way to Rocky Mountain National Park, there was a rest stop off of HWY 70 that has some really nice views. It’s known as the “Sand Bench Viewing Area”. Below are a few images from the rest stop. The Sand Bench you can see in one of the images.

I’m going to keep my eyes open on my way up to Crater Lake in the fall for other great rest stops. I’m sure I drove by some interesting sites last time.
