California is going through a really bad drought, but it looks like there is going to be a small amount of relief coming this week. The Sierra Nevada Mountains should be getting a fair amount of snow tonight and more on Tuesday and possibly Wednesday. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it will also get more snow later in April and May like it did last year. I’ll be up in that area the first week of June and it’s always great to see some late seasonal snow on the ground.
Locally, there is going to be a small rain storm coming through the Ventura County area on Tuesday. I’m hoping to try and get some photos either in the morning or evening that day. Clearing storms over the ocean are always great.
Today is Easter Sunday, so it’s been kind of a low key day. I’ve been relaxing most of the day, but did go out and do grocery shopping for the week. To keep in the Easter spirit, I bought some tulips for the apartment; below are two pictures of them. I can’t remember the last time I bought flowers…
Since it’s the two year anniversary of my website, I’ve decided to change things around a little. I’m currently working on a redesign of the website and will hopefully have it up in the next month.
Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend and taking some fun pictures.
Have a great week everyone!
