Stillness In Nature

I love going up to the high country in Yosemite. The environment is so beautiful and if you stay real still, you come across some great opportunities.

One such opportunity was the late afternoon of June 4, 2015. The two young bucks in the image below were feeding in a subalpine meadow. They obviously knew I was there, but I kept my distance and watched nature do what it does best.

I was planning on returning to nature in mid June this year, but with everything going on in the world, I may cancel that plan. Originally I was going up to Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia, but Yosemite I cancelled until October and I had to keep rescheduling Kings Canyon and Sequoia. I may go ahead and cancel that one as well. Better to be safe than sorry this time around.

For my October trip I’ve added a couple of destinations. The end result is: Lassen Volcanic National Park, Big Basin National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, and of course Yosemite National Park! Always great to do a road trip!

Have a great week everyone!
