While visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park in October 2024, I enjoyed seeing a number of areas I hadn’t seen in a while. One area around the south entrance of the park is called Sulphur Works. It’s a great place to see boiling mud pots and other unique volcanic landscapes. Below are two images I took while there. I find it interesting to see plant life grow in unusual locations.
I’m still trying to figure out where to go this year for a road trip. I know I want to visit Joshua Tree National Park, but not sure what month I’ll be going. Time to really start focusing on the rest of the year as reservations can be difficult the more time moves on…
On a side note: For the victims of the Los Angeles fire disaster – you’re all in my prayers and thoughts. Seeing images in the news of this disaster is heartbreaking. I’m sending a HUGE thank you to all the firemen and firewomen who are helping bring this firestorm to an end. Hoping everyone will be able to rebuild their lives when the dust settles.
Have a great week everyone!
