My first stop on my huge National Park trip was Zion National Park. Nothing better than starting a trip with a beautiful sunrise! Below are two photos I took in the early morning.

The one thing I didn’t know about Zion was that for the past few days before I arrived they had been closing most of the park roads from 6am to 1:30pm daily for road construction. Wouldn’t you know the day I arrived that schedule was still in place. I was able to go into the park about two miles and then had to leave. However, I did end up going back to the park at then end of my trip…which is when I was able to drive through the entire park. 🙂 I’ll post some photos from that part of the trip later.
