Below is a sunset photo I took in Tuolumne Meadows on my last trip to Yosemite. Funny thing is I was up there taking time lapse videos and hoping for a great sunset image of Lembert Dome with the same kind of sky as in this photo. Unfortunately the sky only got darker above Lembert Dome, so I turned around and faced west to take photos of the meadow.

As I was finishing up in the meadow, a man came up to me and ask if it was ok to take some photos. I thought, “I don’t own the meadow…why are you asking me???” I said, “Go for it!” Turns out he is a wedding/engagement photographer and didn’t want to get in my way. He took some really nice photos of a couple, who seemed to be thrilled with what they saw on his camera’s screen after he was done. I have to say that it was a beautiful sunset for an engagement photo!
