I recently bought a new lens for my camera and went to the Santa Barbara Zoo yesterday to test it out. I have to say I love the results this lens created! The lens is the equivalent of 600mm on a 35mm camera (I use a micro 4/3rds mirrorless camera). In other words, the lens has great reach. Below are some of the images I took while at the zoo. I am looking forward to many more photo opportunities with this lens.

As far as travel plans go in the future, I am planning on going up to the Eastern Sierra in early June to do some astrophotography. I will also be going to a second destination, but not sure where that will be yet. It is always fun searching for new destinations!
