Growing up I was exposed to different kinds of cameras. My father had two Minolta cameras that I loved and I also had a Kodak disc camera that I like a lot. However, there was one camera that I really gravitated toward, mostly because of the unique innovation of the technology it held. That camera was a Polaroid, specifically the Polaroid One Step. To this day I still look back and have great memories of that camera.
This brings me to a documentary that I rented this weekend called “Time Zero: The Last Year of Polaroid Film”. The documentary chronicles the last days of Polaroid film and how a small group of people got together and under the most impossible odds brought back the film format. It is truly an inspirational film and goes to prove that nothing in life is impossible. The documentary is available for rent through iTunes and most online rental stores. Below I have posted two photos I took with my Polaroid camera years ago. One is of my dog, Patches, back when I was a kid and the other is of Rainbow Falls in the Eastern Sierras.
Have a great week everyone!
