I just returned from three great days in Yosemite!
As you can imagine, the big show this time of the year in the park is the water. Daytime temperatures in the park were in the upper 70s and lower 80s (Fahrenheit). The snowpack for this last winter season was melting at a very quick pace, so there were flood warnings on Saturday.
Below are some photos I took throughout the park. The first is Bridal Veil Fall, followed by a rock in Bridal Veil Creek. The photo after that is Upper Yosemite Falls, followed by a cascade along the Big Oak Flat Road, leading into Yosemite Valley.
It looked like only about a handful of dogwood trees bloomed so far this year (I’d say around 5% of the total along the Merced River.) Below is one photo I took…which I feel I was lucky to get since most of the buds on the trees weren’t producing flowers yet.
The last photo in this post is of the Wawona Meadow. It’s always nice to do the hike around the meadow anytime of the year.
Have a great week everyone!
