A little Sesame Street humor for the title of the blog. 🙂
Below are two images I took while in Zion at the beginning of May. Checkerboard Mesa is interesting. I didn’t realize that the polarizer I had on the lens was going to turn the sky such a dark sapphire blue! I was going to tone it down a bit…but decided, eh, why not leave it. It kind of made the color scheme interesting with the mesa.
The other image I took around sunrise near a turnoff heading toward the large tunnel. I saw the sun hitting the top of the trees and thought it would be interesting. The colors of the canyon walls and the trees made good contrast.
I’m itching to go hiking again…city life can do that to you.
